Creating an Affiliate Bonus Hub in Teachery

*This post may contain affiliate links for which I earn commissions.*

I’ve finally gotten around to using one of Teachery’s newest features – the ability to create course hubs.

Now, I know we can actually create any kind of “hub” we want using the standard course-builder. BUT what I didn’t know until today is that Teachery has made it drag-and-drop simple!

At first, I thought it was just a way to put our courses all in one place but then I realized that with the customization options, I could FINALLY get around to creating a place where I share all of my bonuses for things I promote as an affiliate {this was an often-requested thing from my community!}

I’m going to show you what I’m doing in the video below but what I figured out is that I don’t need to use my own courses!

I can customize the “Buy Now” button in the hub to go to any link I want and I can use the description section to let people know what they need to do to get my bonus.

UPDATE: I finally finished my affiliate bonus hub!
You can see it here.

Let’s take a look…

The finished hub looks a lot different than what I started with. I’ve now added a header, a quick links” menu with recommended reading and resources, and I’ve styled the hub with a background color and colored borders.

This is all without custom CSS. Teachery makes it super simple.

I’m wondering what kind of magic I could create with a bit of CSS. It’s easy enough to add…

For now, I’m happy with the result and what’s great is that when I add a new bonus, I can very quickly drop it right into my hub!

At this time, hubs only use courses you’ve already created and the only button link you can customize is the “buy now” button – the “log in” and “learn more” button links are fixed.

But I’m secretly hoping that they’ll eventually add a bit more flexibility to hubs and let us fully customize the button links.

Fingers crossed! 🤞🏻
